O cofundador da Apple, que sempre carrega diversos smartphones consigo, afirmou que usa redes wireless para se conectar a internet.
Segundo Wozniak, sua residência na cidade de Los Gatos não possui capacidades para conexão a cabo ou banda larga e seu provedor ISP local, a Horizon, é a única responsável por todo cabeamento em sua região.
“Há pelo menos 50 empresas que querem me vender DSL, mas todas precisam passar pelo cabeamento da Horizon. A banda larga é um monopólio em minha cidade e isso significa que você consegue obter a conexão de uma empresa a cabo, mas eu não possuo conexão banda larga”, ironizou Wozniak.
Embora não tenha banda larga em casa, Wozniak possui três smartphones para se manter conectado. Ele já foi o primeiro da fila para obter um iPhone 4S e o considera seu principal aparelho; possui um celular Android, o qual já revelou ter funções melhores que o iOS; e afirmou estar impressionando com seu Windows Phone da Nokia.
